DIN: The goddess of power created the land.
According to the Great Deku Tree, Din, "with her strong flaming arms, cultivated the land and created the red earth." Din, the Goddess of Power, formed the terrain of Hyrule. She is closely associated with the Triforce of Power.

NAYRU: The goddess of wisdom created order.
Nayru is the goddess who "poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world." She is revered for creating the laws and physics of the universe that keep it in order. As the goddess of wisdom, she is associated with the Triforce of Wisdom

FARORE The goddess of courage created life
Farore, "with her rich soul, created all the living inhabitants in the world to uphold the law." She is the goddess of all life. Farore is associated with the Triforce of Courage.
The Triforce of Power
Bestows the title of 'The Forger of Strength' upon the user. It is red in colour, was owned by the wizard Ganon, until Link defeated him. If not used in conjunction with the Triforce of Power, it will corrupt the user, and they will become power hungry. This happened to the wizard Ganon, who was already evil, but yearned to take over Hyrule because of its influence.
The Triforce of Wisdom
Bestows the title of 'The Keeper of Knowledge' upon the user. It is blue in colour, and owned by Princess Zelda. While it gives great magical wisdom to the user, its magic can also be used as a weapon. It helps to prevent corruption in a person, if it is used alongside the Triforce of Power.
The Triforce of Courage
Bestows the title of 'The Juror of Courage' upon the user. It is yellow in colour, and was hidden in a great dungeon, until Link retrieved it. It is now owned by Princess Zelda. Its powers were used to revive a princess who had been put under a sleeping spell many centuries before.

The Creation Myth
The Creation Myth Before life, spirits, or even time existed, three Golden Goddesses descended upon the chaos that would become the land of Hyrule. Each contributed a specific element to the creation of reality: **Din (Goddess of Power): With her "strong flaming arms," she cultivated the land and created the red earth. **Nayru (Goddess of Wisdom): She poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world. **Farore (Goddess of Courage): She produced all life forms that would uphold the law. The Departure Once their labors were complete, the goddesses ascended back to the heavens. At the point where they left the world, they left behind three golden triangles. These triangles collectively form the Triforce, representing a small portion of the goddesses' essence and power. The Nature of the Relic The Triforce is unique because it is an inanimate object that cannot judge between "good" and "evil." This was a deliberate design by the goddesses to give the inhabitants of Hyrule free will. The "True Force" and Balance The relic is often referred to as the "Ultimate Power," but it comes with a built-in security system. To claim the "True Force" (the ability to grant any wish), the seeker must have a perfect balance of Power, Wisdom, and Courage in their heart. If the heart is balanced: The seeker can use the full power of the Triforce to govern the world. If the heart is unbalanced: The Triforce splits. The seeker is left with only the one piece they believe in most, while the other two pieces hide within individuals chosen by destiny (usually Link and Zelda). Guarding the Power Because the Triforce could grant the wishes of both saints and demons, the goddesses entrusted its protection to the Goddess Hylia. She eventually gave up her divinity to become mortal (Zelda) to ensure the relic could be used by humans to defeat the ultimate evil, Demise. Note: The Triforce is housed in the Sacred Realm (or the Golden Land), a parallel dimension that reflects the heart of whoever enters it. This is why when Ganon touched it in Ocarina of Time, the realm turned into a world of monsters.
